MSW | MAT

I am a pre-licensed psychotherapist (LCSW pending) from the United States, currently residing in the Sacred Valley of Peru, who takes a psychodynamic approach to sessions with a framework rooted in transpersonal psychology. I employ evidence-based practices signature of cognitive behavioral therapy, schema therapy, solution focused brief therapy, accelerated experiential dynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. I have participated in numerous Ayahuasca ceremonies in Peru and Costa Rica, and I have also worked with Iboga, Peyote, Huachuma, Bufo Alvarius, Cannabis, and Psilocybin Mushrooms in ceremonial contexts. Additionally, I have explored the numerous benefits derived from various meditation and somatic practices. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA) and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Montclair State University, and a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice (MSW) from Columbia University.

In our therapeutic relationship, I do not see myself as an expert, but rather as a guide facilitating your own unique path to self-discovery. My role is not to motivate or inspire, and advice is only offered when requested. Leveraging my formal education, twenty years of teaching experience, and insights gained from my own continuing journey of personal growth, I aim to empower you through skillful questions and deep exploration. As a psychedelic integration coach, my focus is on guiding you to unearth your own answers within, blending psycho-education with scientific research and models of thought established in the field of psychology. Our collaboration involves mutually agreed-upon action steps after each session to translate information of tools and techniques into experiential knowledge. I advocate for a finite course together, encouraging your self-sufficiency and sovereignty rather than dependence on me, others, or the consumption of an ever-increasing selection of more psychedelics.
